Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
VistaOpps LLC ("VistaOpps," "we," "us," or "our") operates the VistaOpps platform and website at vistaopps.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
If you have questions, contact us at support@vistaoppsnet.com.
1. Who this Policy applies to
The Service is a business tool intended for use by local service businesses and their authorized personnel. It is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form). Authentication is handled through our infrastructure provider (Supabase).
Business profile information. To generate content and surface local opportunities, we collect information about your business, including business name, logo, industry, service location and area, brand colors, and contact details (such as phone number, service cities, and website).
Payment information. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. When you subscribe, you provide payment details directly to Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited billing information (such as your subscription status, plan, and a payment identifier) needed to manage your account.
Content you create. We store the posts, captions, images, videos, schedules, and other content you generate, upload, or save within the Service.
Connected account information. If you choose to connect a third-party account (such as Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok), we receive information necessary to provide the connected feature — see Section 6.
Usage and device information. We collect standard technical information such as log data, IP address, browser type, and how you interact with the Service, to operate, secure, and improve it.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating content and surfacing local business opportunities;
- Create, authenticate, and secure your account;
- Process subscriptions and payments;
- Send transactional and service-related emails (such as password resets, receipts, and billing notices);
- Respond to your requests and provide support;
- Monitor, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Content generation and AI
The Service uses artificial intelligence, including services provided by OpenAI, to generate images, text, and other content based on the information you provide (such as your business profile and post topics). Information necessary to generate your content is transmitted to these providers to produce the output you request. Generated content may contain inaccuracies, and you are responsible for reviewing it before use (see our Terms of Service).
5. Local business data
The Service surfaces information about local businesses and opportunities using third-party data sources, including the Google Places API. This information generally reflects publicly available business listings (such as business names, addresses, ratings, and contact details) and is provided to help you identify prospects and partners. We do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness, and you are responsible for using it in compliance with applicable laws (see our Terms of Service).
6. Connected social accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
If you choose to connect a third-party platform account, you authorize us — through that platform's official login and permission process — to access and use certain information solely to provide the feature you requested (for example, publishing or scheduling content you approve to your connected account).
Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this may include your profile or account identifier and access tokens that allow us to act on your behalf. We use this information only to deliver the connected features you enable and in accordance with each platform's developer policies and terms.
You control these connections. You can disconnect a platform at any time through your VistaOpps settings and/or by revoking VistaOpps's access in that platform's own settings. When you disconnect, we stop accessing the platform and delete the associated access tokens; content already created remains subject to the rest of this Policy.
7. How we share information
We share information only as follows:
- Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted third parties to run the Service, who process information on our behalf under confidentiality obligations. These currently include: Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI (content generation), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Vercel (hosting), Google (local business data via the Places API), and the social platforms you connect (Meta/Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- At your direction. When you publish or schedule content to a connected account, we transmit that content to the relevant platform as you instruct.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of VistaOpps, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If VistaOpps is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
8. Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you cancel and close your account, we delete or de-identify your information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
9. Data security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and database-level security rules that restrict each account's data to that account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update most account and business information directly in the Service, or contact us at support@vistaoppsnet.com to make a request. You may also disconnect any connected social account at any time (Section 6) and cancel your subscription through the customer billing portal.
11. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Service, keep you signed in, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect how the Service functions.
12. International users
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
